What is Fivehead Baptist Church like?
Services
Sunday Services begin at 10:30 unless stated in the "Service type and leader" section. There is a time for prayer at 09:45.
The 3rd Sunday of each month is a Family service, the 4th our Communion service. Our sermons are aimed at making the scriptures understandable and relevant to today.
During our time "between Pastors". I find the following passages comforting.
Isaiah 41 v1;
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Jeremiah 29:11;
For I know the plans I have for you,....plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
This song also sums up our situation, trust and belief in our Lord.
